Petrified Forest National Park

 In 2020, I went to Petrified Forest NP with my dad.  Here are my three layouts for the trip.

Here is the picture of the sign and me next to one of the logs near the visitor center.  The round circle is supposed to be a petrified log with the lines of the years.

Here is a picture of the Inn that was used for food, arts and crafts, and sleeping.

Here is a layout of me and my dad on the road of Route 66 in the National Park.  The road isn't there anymore but a corner with some cars.

Where Trading is a Way of Life

 

1/2020 - I went to the Hubbell Trading Post NHS with my dad.  We walked around the land, went into the trading post, saw the farm animals and got a chance to go into the Hubbell home.

A Sacred Place

In the summer of 1988, I went up to Denver, Colorado to visit my dad.  This trip we went to Mesa Verde NP.  We camped, went to a fire pit and walked through the cliffs.  My grandpa Spude went there with us too.

Abraham Lincoln's Legacy Lives

 In July of 2021 - my mom and I went to District of Columbia to meet up with some friends.  On one of the days, we went to Ford's Theatre NHS.  We got to see the museum and theatre.  Here are my layout pages for the park.

Here is the front of the Ford Theatre NHS.

Here is the inside of the theatre.  That night when Lincoln got shot the show, they were playing was Our American Cousin.  The window area where the drapes are is the area where Lincoln was shot.

This is the Petersen Boarding House.  The is where President Abraham Lincoln passed away.

Chiricahua National Monument

 

In 2023, my family and I went to the Chiricahua National Monument.  We drove up to the top and saw all the rocks and mountains.  The big thing of the day was seeing the Faraway Ranch.  It used to be a house until it got turned into a guest ranch at the park.  People could stay there while visiting the park.

Ya'at'teeh and Welcome back to Navajoland

 

In 2022, I went to Canyon de Chelly NM with my dad.  The park is located in Arizona.

I pick orange and a little bet of purple for this page.  I used a sticker and a postcard I got from the visitor center.  One of the pictures is of Spider Rock.  There is a story that Spider Women lives in the spires.  Another picture is the ruins that were found in the rocks.

A Wonderland of Rocks

 

In 9/29/2017, I went to Chiricahua National Monument in Arizona with my dad.  For this layout I have a picture of me in front of the sign, we saw some deer near the road, seeing all the rocks that look like teeth to me and at one of the stops you can see an Indian head lying down.
