Ya'at'teeh and Welcome back to Navajoland

In 2022, I went to Canyon de Chelly NM with my dad.  The park is located in Arizona.

I pick orange and a little bet of purple for this page.  I used a sticker and a postcard I got from the visitor center.  One of the pictures is of Spider Rock.  There is a story that Spider Women lives in the spires.  Another picture is the ruins that were found in the rocks.

A Wonderland of Rocks

In 9/29/2017, I went to Chiricahua National Monument in Arizona with my dad.  For this layout I have a picture of me in front of the sign, we saw some deer near the road, seeing all the rocks that look like teeth to me and at one of the stops you can see an Indian head lying down.

Gateway to the West

One summer my family went to Illinois to see family.  We had to drive through Missouri, and I saw this amazing piece that I called the Arch.  I didn't know what it was until I started going to the parks.  I just thought it was really cool to see.

Jerome State Historic Park

This is a picture of me in front of a rock turner at the Jerome State Historic Park.  My dad took this picture of me.  I thought I looked cute in the picture.

Meteor Crater Natural Landmark

Sometime in the 1980's, my mom, stepdad and I went to see Meteor Crater that is up north of Arizona.  I don't remember really anything about this trip.  Just saw the pictures of the big hole in the ground.

I used brown and orange for this layout.  I wrote my notes and printed out a picture of a crater.

More than a Mountain

Here is layout of my trip to Denali National Park & Preserve.  I went there around the summer of 1986.  I don't remember that much about this trip.  I do remember the train ride.  Here are some pictures of my dad Bob and stepmom Meg on the train.

Later on, after I did this layout, I found a couple of the other pictures to add.

My dad Bob before getting on the train

Here is my dad and I on the train going to the park.

The Route Followed by Spanish Settlers of San Francisco

This is a new little spot that represents the Juan Bautista de Anza National Historic Trail here in Tucson, AZ.

This is called Anza Trail Cultural History Park near the Death and Blind school.  This is where the Juan Bautista de Anza Trail and Santa Cruz River connect.

This is just a little area where they have a walkway or a bikeway along the Santa Cruz River.  They do have little signs that have different items that are represented during the time.  There are a couple of areas to sit.
